FUGITIVE OF THE WEEK ARREST LEADS TO THEFT CHARGES

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, Chief of Detectives John J. Kuczynski, and Clinton Township Officer in Charge Lt. Doug Higgins announced the arrest of Hunterdon County Fugitive of the Week.

Brody Crowley, age 25, of Lebanon Township, was arrested by the Hunterdon County Fugitive Task Force on a warrant for absconding from and failing to adhere to the provisions of drug court. In addition, Mr. Crowley was found to be in possession of heroin when taken into custody. Mr. Crowley was subsequently charged with 3rd degree Possession of CDS (Heroin).

Mr. Crowley was also charged by detectives from the Clinton Township Police Department for 3rd degree theft of moveable property in connection with a separate investigation.

Mr. Crowley was lodged in the Somerset County Jail and is awaiting an appearance in the Hunterdon County Superior Court.

The filing of a criminal complaint is merely a step in the criminal justice process. The defendant is presumed innocent until the matter is resolved in a court of law.
